Terms of service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Olene, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use the product.

The service

Olene is a unified calendar product. We connect to your existing calendars (Google, Outlook, Apple, ICS) and extract events from screenshots and PDFs you upload. We display everything in one master view, flag conflicts, and sync edits back to your source calendars.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• You must be 16 or older to create an account.
• One account per person. You can connect as many calendar sources as you like.
• Don't share your account credentials. Magic-link logins are tied to your email.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer the service or attempt to extract source code or models.
• Upload content that infringes others' rights or violates law.
• Use Olene to send spam, harassment, or malware.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission.
• Resell access to the service without a written agreement.

Subscription and billing

• Olene Pro is $10/month or $96/year. We bill via Stripe.
• 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
• If you start a paid subscription, you'll be charged on the same date each cycle until you cancel.
• Beta pricing — first 50 paying customers — is grandfathered for the life of the account, as long as the subscription stays active.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but if you had a billing issue email billing@olene.app and we'll make it right.

Your data

You own everything you put into Olene. We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy policy. You can export all your event data as ICS at any time, and you can delete your account with one click.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. Olene is provided "as is." We are not liable for missed events, conflicts not caught, or events we incorrectly extracted from a screenshot — Olene is a tool that helps you manage your time, not a system of record.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Olene's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that endangers other users. We'll give you reasonable notice unless the violation is severe.

Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll email every active account at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
